Trialist defender Christian Mbulu remains with the Football Club with boss David Artell saying that his situation remains on-going. The former Motherwell and Millwall defender has been with us on trial throughout the pre-season and has featured in a number of the warm up games.

Artell told the club’s official website: “The situation with Christian is on-going and he is happy to remain with us. I spoke to him last night and that that is where we are. He is still training with us.

“He has not played a lot of games but he is competitive, is domineering in the air and has enough about him on the floor. He has defensively been fine but we just have to make sure that everything is right elsewhere.”
