David Artell is hopeful that the groin injury to Olly Lancashire is not too serious after the centre-half was forced off towards the end of our game this evening.

With Lancashire off the pitch, the home side forced a 2-2 draw late on to force a penalty shoot-out but four confident spot-kicks from Porter, Green, Pickering and Jones gave us a 4-2 win.

After the thrilling cup tie at the Riverside, Artell told us: “Olly just said that he felt it (his groin) and it wasn’t too bad. We are hopeful that it isn’t too bad but we will assess him tomorrow and take it from there.

“We will have a look at him after a bit of a lie in and see where we stand.”
