David Artell says that the club will always be in the market for players when the transfer window is open. The summer window closes on 2nd September for EFL One and Two clubs and Artell has reiterated that ‘whilst the shop is open, he will continue to look’.
The Alex boss was delighted to get the Chuma Anene loan deal over the line last week and that doesn’t necessary mean it’s the end of his summer business.
Artell hinted this morning: “The shop remains open and whilst that is the case, we will continue to look around for those bargains and see what sales are out there.
“Something could always crop up out of nowhere and we are still looking for players that can improve us.
“When the window is open, we are still interested and that has always been the case.”
