David Artell is delighted that his Crewe Alexandra players were rewarded with a draw against Premier League opponents Aston Villa.
Crewe held their nerve in a penalty shoot-out against Middlesbrough last night and were drawn against Aston Villa in round two of the Carabao Cup.
Artell told crewealex.net: “We want to win every game and see where we get to. Hopefully, it will be a full house (against Aston Villa), maybe earn a few bob but that’s for other people to worry about.
“I just want to worry about my players, understanding what it means to win, understanding that feeling, and that can be magnified 10 times over.
He added: “We have to replicate it game after game, and now we have to get our home form up and running against Walsall on Saturday.”
