Taylor-Sinclair Faces Races Against Time To Make Good Friday Fixture

16 April 2019

Crewe Alexandra’s on-loan left-back, Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, faces a race against time to feature against Yeovil Town on Good Friday. The Motherwell man was forced off late on in the 3-0 win over Notts County with a thigh injury.

His replacement for those final ten minutes, James Jones, scored the third goal in the comfortable victory against the struggling Magpies.

Before his quad injury, Aaron Taylor had broken the deadlock with a well-placed header from another assisted cross from Charlie Kirk. It was the Scotsman’s second goal in three games after his goal in the defeat to Cheltenham Town.

Although Harry Pickering is making significant progress following his hernia operation, it is unlikely he would be ready in time to return if Taylor-Sinclair is not deemed fit enough for Friday’s home match.
