Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell wants his in-form side to finish on top of the form table by winning five games on the bounce at Grimsby Town this weekend.
The Alex boss wants his team to end the campaign on a real high and end with another away win following on from our Easter success at Swindon.
Crewe have won just four games away from home this season and that is a key area to improve on for next season.
An honest Artell told the club’s official website: “Our away results in the first half of the season were not good enough and we all accept that.
“We said before the Swindon game that we had to start putting it right and address it now. Why wait until next season? Let’s go to Swindon and show that we can win the game. Not draw, but to go there and show what we are about and win. We did that.
“We have to do that more often next season and re-address our away from. It has improved since the New Year but we have had disappointments as well at places like Port Vale and Macclesfield.
“We have certainly seen an improvement in performances away from home and had some god results but we have to carry that on.
“That starts again at Grimsby on Saturday.”
