David Artell admits it is difficult to predict what Michael Duff might do as he looks forward to his first game in charge of Cheltenham.
With Cheltenham Town recently appointing Michael Duff as their new manager, David Artell admits it will be a bit of a guessing game when it comes to trying to predict their shape, personnel and tactics.
The Crewe boss expects a tough game at Whaddon Road, even more so now it will be Duff’s first game in charge of the Robins.
He told crewealex.net: “It is a difficult one to predict because they have a new manager with Michael coming in recently. It is hard to know what he might do. He could change the personnel and the shape.
“He could make one or two changes, or he could make nine, you just do not know. Nobody knows and I suppose we will find out tomorrow.
“We have to worry about ourselves and how we do. I am sure Michael will be saying the same to his players. They will approach it the same.
“We have to take care of ourselves first and not overly concern ourselves to what Cheltenham might do.
The boss added: “Every club chairman or owner is looking for a manager bounce when they appoint a new one and they will be no different. We will have to match that and be mindful of it but we also have to play to our strengths to make sure we get a result.”
