Young midfielder, Tom Lowery, certainly helped Crewe Alexandra get on the ball a lot more against Notts County on Saturday.
Lowery made his first start of the season against Manchester City’s Under-21s and kept his place for the trip to Notts County at the weekend.
Ahead of tonight’s home game with Swindon, assistant manager, Kenny Lunt, said: “Having Tom in the team certainly helped with the football side of things. He keeps the ball for you but he knows he has to create more and become more of a goal threat if he is going to play in that position.
“He is working on that side of his game, because we know he can create more, but he has done fine since coming into the team. There were a few good performances coming out of Notts County on Saturday. “
