David Artell has revealed that striker Shaun Miller has been struggling with a slight knee problem.

The Alex boss has not used Miller in the last three matches, but he says that at the moment he will only use the experienced hit-man sparingly, so he doesn’t suffer a potentally longer set-back.  

Following the 1-0 loss to Lincoln, David revealed: "Shaun’s struggling a bit with his knee, we are trying to use him when we absolutely must.

"You could argue we could have at Lincoln, but in the end I think the strikers would have put something away if we had created anything. We lost our way a bit.

He added: "There was no creativity and that was the idea surrounding no Shaun, and Alex (Nicholls) and Oli Finney coming on to try and create something."
