Eddie Nolan is still two to three weeks off a return to training according to boss David Artell.
The Irishman has not played since suffering a calf injury against Macclesfield Town back in early September and the boss has revealed that the defender has had some fluid in the tendon which has caused him some discomfort.
David told the club’s official website: “Eddie is still two to three weeks away. The scan showed that he has some fluid in the tendon, so that put him back a bit. It was causing him a bit of friction and discomfort so he has been wearing compression socks to help with that.
“It is a touch longer with Eddie than we thought but it has got to be right, it has to be right because we want him back 100% right.”
