Fans are reminded that Paul Green will be in the press box helping out with the commentary of tonight's game versus Mansfield Tow

Crewe Alexandra midfielder, Paul Green, will be sat alongside Graham McGarry in the commentary box this evening. The experienced Green will be co-commentating on our home game versus Mansfield Town and he is sure to provide some real on-pitch insight on BBC Radio Stoke and iFollow The Alex.

If you cannot attend this evening’s game then make sure you tune in.

Meanwhile, David Artell has announced that Green remains on schedule for a February return to action.

David told the club’s official website: “Paul is scheduled to return in the New Year, probably February but it wouldn’t surprise me if he got back before that.

“He is set to visit a specialist again next week and he is close to be having the knee fully extended.

“He is coming along nicely. The type of injury he has does take time to heal. It is a slow process but Paul is a great pro and he works hard every day.

“We have missed him and having a fit-again Greeny, firing on all cylinders again like he was before will be a real bonus for us.”
