David Artell says he has plenty of options when it comes to replacing the suspended Perry Ng for tomorrow’s home game against Grimsby Town. Ng will miss the meeting with the Mariners after picking up his fifth caution of the season late on at Yeovil on Tuesday evening.

The Alex boss says he has a choice to make at centre-half with Michael Raynes, Nicky Hunt and a fit again Eddie Nolan all available for selection.

David told the club’s official website: “We have few options there and a number of players who can play centre-half. Michael Raynes, Nicky Hunt, Billy Sass-Davies and Eddie Nolan can all play there.

“We have a strong squad and a number of good defenders to choose from. Eddie came through the Under-23 game with no trouble. We will see how he is and it is good to have last year’s player-of-the-year back with us.

“The one I feel deserves to play will play, whilst also looking at what the opposition will do.”
