David Artell has stated that it is a fantastic achievement for Callum Ainley to reach 100 league appearances if he selected to face Stevenage this weekend.
The 20-year-old is set to reach the milestone at the Lamex Stadium after making his first team debut back in September 2015.
The talented youngster has made 114 appearances in all competitions and there is no doubt that he would like to add to his goal tally of eight.
David told the club’s official website: “It is a fantastic achievement for someone as young as Callum to reach the milestone of 100 league games.
“He is has a great character and although sometimes he goes through a tough time, he is going to be some player.
“He is still developing and we are always trying to make him more effective in terms of his creativity and goals. He is still influential in what he does and we know what a good player he is for the team, but we need him to be even more effective.
He added: “I’m sure he will get there. We had a good chat recently and he knows what we think as him as a player and we will try and get the best out of him.”
