Crewe Alexandra Under 23s will host Nantwich Town in the first round of the Cheshire FA Senior Cup.

The draw was conducted last night at Cheshire FA HQ & paired last season's winners Nantwich with 2016 winners Crewe.

The tie must be played by mid-January 2019, with match details & ticket information to be released in due course.

The Alex beat Nantwich in that 2016 final with Callum Saunders scoring for Crewe in a 3-2 victory. Saunders now wears the green jersey of the Dabbers & will be looking to make a mark back at Crewe.

Town beat Stockport Town in last years' final & thus received a bye in the preliminary round of this years' competition.

Crewe's Under 23s thumped Cheadle Town 6-0 in their preliminary round tie in October.
