Perry Ng has told the club’s official website that Crewe Alexandra have to follow up our 3-2 win over Tranmere Rovers with another positive away result at Crawley Town this weekend.
The Alex ended a run of four straight defeats, albeit with two of those disappointing losses coming in Cup competitions and Ng, who skippered the team in the absence of the injured George Ray last Saturday, says now is the perfect time to push on.
Ng, who is closing in on 100 appearances for the club, said: "The main thing is we got the result last weekend because we needed one. The lads are buzzing, and I think we deserved it because we've been working hard and our luck has changed round a bit.
"Tranmere pushed us to the end, they're a good team, and it's a big boost. I'm sure on Saturday we'll show how much confidence it's given us.
Perry added: "Now is the time we really need to go for it. We've shown we can beat the top teams in this league so hopefully we can get up there. We don't want another season where we are fighting relegation, so we need to look up and keep winning."
