Crewe Alexandra have re-signed striker Shaun Miller on a two-year-contract, with an option of a further year.
The 30-year-old former Alex academy graduate joins after being released from Carlisle United following the 2017/18 season.
Miller, born and bred down the road in Alsager, came through the Crewe ranks from a young age, turning pro in 2006.
He enjoyed six years in his first spell with the Alex, scoring 43 goals in 179 appearances before being sold on to Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee in summer 2012.
Playing for six years away from Gresty Road, Shaun enjoyed permanent stints with the Blades, Coventry City, Morecambe and then Carlisle before returning to the Alex on loan for the second half of last season.
He slotted back in to the Alex set-up immediately, notching six goals in 15 games for Dave Artell's side as the Alex comfortably avoided the drop.
Everyone at the Football Club is delighted to welcome 'one of our own' back to Gresty Road.
