Callum Ainley has completed a hat-trick of Crewe Alexandra contract renewals after putting pen-to-paper on a new & improved three-year-deal.

He follows in the footsteps of fellow academy graduates James Jones & Callum Ainley to agree new deals with the Club in recent days as boss Dave Artell continues his recruitment drive.

The 20-year-old will remain at The Alexandra Stadium until summer 2021, with his previous deal set to expire this summer.

Ainley has made a total of 99 Crewe appearances, and could be set for his 100th game in the final day of the season clash with Cheltenham.

Also contributing eight goals since his debut in September 2015, Ainley has improved season-on-season and is set to remain a key member of the Alex side next season.
