Happy Retirement To Conditioning Coach Barrie Beasley

Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to wish Barrie Beasley a very happy retirement.

After almost 20 years as our conditioning coach at the club’s training ground, he has decided to put his weights down for the final time!

Baz was presented with a signed, framed shirt from the players and staff at our final game of the season as the former Great Britain weight lifting medalist  announced his retirement. 

Barrie has helped the physique, strength and fitness of our players since the pre-season of 1999 and all his years’ in the military made sure that no-one got an easy ride during those intense gym sessions!

We all wish Baz a happy retirement and I’m sure he will be back at Gresty Road to watch the lads in action.
