Alex Support Bowel Cancer Charities Alongside The LMA

10 May 2018

Crewe Alexandra Football Club is supporting ‘Know The Score’ charity to raise awareness of bowel cancer.

The leading charity bowel cancer charities, the Bobby Moore Fund and the Adam Stansfield Foundation, Beating Bowel Cancer, Bowel Cancer UK, the Men’s Health Forum and Know The Score’s founding charity, the Mr Brightside Project, are coming together to promote awareness of the key symptoms of bowel cancer.

Our boss David Artell and other football managers have been wearing the ‘Star of Hope’ badge, which represents all of the charities involved.  The League Manager’s Association is once again leading the awareness of the great work all the charities achieve. As a football club we are only too pleased to promote the importance of bowel cancer awareness.

David Artell said: “I am only too pleased to support Bowel Cancer awareness by wearing the ‘Star of Hope’ badge and to support their campaign alongside the LMA. Bowel Cancer can affect men and women of all ages. It is very important that we are all aware of the symptoms and for more information I encourage you to visit knowthescore.org.uk or follow the campaign on Twitter.”
