Kenny Lunt believes that a strong team spirit and work ethos will see a better Crewe Alexandra next season. The Alex finished the season strongly to ease away from any potential trouble at the bottom of League Two. Six wins from the last nine games saw us finish joint top of the form guide and in 15th place in the table.
Lunt is encouraged by the squad sticking together and the permanent acquisitions of Paul Green and Shaun Miller following their positive contributions on loan in the second half of last season.
The assistant manager told crewealex.net: “I always try to be as positive as I possibly can be. I would think I am a positive person but I know how good we can be. I see the players every day in training and know what they are capable of.
“They are a great bunch of lads we have. They all get on and the dressing room is a good one. The team spirit is strong and they all want to do well for themselves and the football club. There is a feel good factor around the place after the way we finished the season.
“We try not to get too down or too high and we have had some good and bad times at the club but that is football.”
