Crewe Alexandra will begin the 2018/19 season with a home clash against Morecambe, the fixture list has revealed.

The second game serves up a trip to Newport County AFC before a home game with MK Dons and trips to Colchester United & Carlisle United to finish August.

In between all that comes a Carabao Cup tie with Fleetwood Town at Gresty Road.

The derbys with Port Vale are at Gresty Road on 22 September & at Vale Park on 6 April.

The Alex have been given a home clash with Lincoln City on Boxing Day, with a trip to Bury on New Years Day. The season will conclude with a trip to Grimsby Town.
