Crewe Alexandra host Blackpool in what will be the final pre-season friendly for both sides in preparation for the 2018/19 season.

Crewe boss Dave Artell will be eager to see just how far his side have come during the last five weeks in what is the one and only pre-season contest on home soil.

Blackpool have two former Crewe players on their books. Oliver Turton & Max Clayton both came through the academy ranks at Gresty Road.

The Tangerines have been busy preparing for another season back in Sky Bet League One, and drew 1-1 with AFC Fylde in their most recent pre-season friendly.

Last week, they beat Port Vale 1-0 at Vale Park.

It's sure to be a tough test for Dave Artell & his squad ahead of the season opener with Morecambe next week, and you can check out the match at Gresty Road for a reduced price.
