Crewe Alexandra Football Club are pleased to announce the details for the Club's 2018 Family Fun Day/Open Training Session.
After the success of the 2017 event, Crewe Alex will once again be hosting its Open Day at the Alexandra Stadium later this month ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 season.
Club staff & local businesses have pulled together to put together the event, which will run from 10am-2pm on Saturday 21 July 2018.
Entry is FREE and will also include a meet & greet signing session with the players in the Carlsberg Lounge after training.
**New Addition** Selecta-Tyre have come on board & will be bringing their 'Speed Goal' along. Kick the ball as hard as you can into the net & the speed of your shot will be recorded.
There are three age categories, Under 10, 10-16 & 16+ with a mouth watering prize for each. The winning speed for each age group will win a private tour of St Georges Park for four people, including a £100 lunch voucher at the England's national football training base!**
Whitby Morrison are bringing an ice cream van to the event, dishing out free ice creams to spread cheer and put some smiles on supporters' faces.
Giovannis Restaurant will be providing free slices of pizza for hungry open-dayers and the Carlsberg Lounge will be opening, selling hot food, drinks & alcoholic beverages. Benny's Chip Shop across the road will also be offering 10% off the menu price throughout the day.
There are a range of activities and events scheduled. There will be magic shows, balloon modelling and face painting, with both a toddler & teen inflatable slide and a penalty shoot-out.
APEX Connected are bringing their pimped up Land Rover & Cheshire Constabulary are bringing down one of their Police Cars for young supporters to have photos with.
What's more, after training, some players will be put in the stocks & junior supporters will be able to throw wet sponges at the helpless players!
Gresty the Lion will of course be in attedance throughout, offering pictures & a friendly face to young supporters.
On top of all that, the new 2018/19 away kit will also go on sale in the Club Shop for the first time, with the home strip & leisure-wear also available.
