The club’s latest signing Alex Nicholls believes that the Alex dressing room is packed with talented young players.
The former Barnet striker, 30, will be battling it out with the forwards for a place in David Artell’s starting XI on August 4th against Morecambe and the likeable Midlander is focussed on having a successful year at Gresty Road.
Alex told the club’s official website: “I have only been here for over a week but I can already see that there are some talented players here. There is a nice blend of experience and youth but there is a lot of quality in the group.
“I am getting to know everyone and how they play but I have settled in and they are a good group of lads.
“I wouldn’t say I am overly vocal on and off the pitch but if something needs saying then I will say it. I am not afraid to do that and I am sure we will discuss things throughout the season.”
