Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of former Barnet striker Alex Nicholls on a one-year-deal.
The 30-year-old has linked up with the Alex after netting eight goals in 27 appearances in League Two last season.
Despite netting three match-winning goals for the Bees in the final five games of the season, results elsewhere went against the London Club, resulting in relegation to the National League on goal difference.
The Stourbridge born winger-come-striker started his professional career at Walsall in 2005, scoring 28 goals in 219 games over a seven year period, before moving to Northampton Town in 2012.
Whilst with the Cobblers, Nicholls played alongside Alex Manager Dave Artell, but his three year stay was disrupted by injury problems, limiting him to 29 appearances & nine goals over three years.
He played at Exeter from January 2015 to June 2016, banging in 13 goals in 74 games prior to joining the Bees that following summer.
Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to welcome Alex to the Club.
