Eddie Has Been Our Most Consistent Performer For Six Weeks

3 January 2018

The consistency of Eddie Nolan has been praised by boss David Artell after the former Eire International missed our New Years’ Day win over Grimsby Town. The versatile Nolan was forced off against Cambridge in the previous game with a calf strain and was ruled out of the 2-0 win over the Mariners.

Artell told the club’s official website: “Eddie has a calf strain and we are hoping it is not too serious.

“Eddie has been our most consistent player over the last six weeks. When we have looked back over the games, Eddie has been our most consistent performer.

“He probably goes under the radar a little bit because he is one of those reliable type of players but his form is usually at a consistent level.”
