Crewe Alexandra midfielder Tommy Lowery has penned a new three-and-a-half year contract at the Club.

The 20-year-old's previous deal was due to expire this summer, but the academy graduate has opted to extend his long association with the Alex until June 2021.

Lowery broke into the team in October 2016 under Steve Davis & featured nine times during that 2016/17 season, also dealing with a problematic injury.

But the charasmatic central midfield playmaker has featured regularly under Dave Artell this season, and impressed during his 29 appearances so far in all competitions.
