The Alex make the trip to Carlisle United fresh from a two week break after enjoying a match-free weekend & resting week off after the New Year's Day victory over Grimsby.
The scheduled clash with Exeter was rearragned due to their involvement in the FA Cup Third Round, & offered the Alex squad the opportunity to recharge the batteries & unwind after a hectic first half of the season & festive period.
Winning three of the last five games, The Alex are hoping to take the upturn in form to Carlisle & avenge the 5-0 drubbing at Gresty Road in September.
The Cumbians' more recent form is differing. After three straight league wins culminating on Boxing Day, they have since lost their last two around New Year before earning a credible 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup Third Round last weekend.
