David Artell has told the club’s official website that the recent loan signings of forward Harry McKirdy and midfielders Daniel Barlaser and Paul Green is not necessary the end of our transfer business in the January window.
The Crewe Alexandra boss has not ruled out moving for more reinforcements to make sure the club are not dragged back into a relegation scrap at the bottom of the EFL.
David Artell says that he and his staff will resume trying to bring in signings once this weekend’s home game against Wycombe Wanderers is out of the way.
The Crewe boss told us: “We are still working extremely hard on one or two things. We hope to do some more business early next week.
“We are hopeful for more and all we can do is wait and see.
Artell: “Every day is busy and it would be nice to talk to the wife and the kids once in a while but I am not sure if they feel the same way! That’s the job though and we hope to get some more good players in. We remain positive. “
