We Can Emulate Yeovil's Recent Good Run

9 February 2018

David Artell believes that his side can emulate Yeovil Town recent run and start to pull away from the relegation drop zone.

Darren Way has bolstered his squad in the January window with some good signings, such as the former Crewe Alexandra loan striker Ryan Seager and the Liverpool midfielder Corey Whelan.

Yeovil have won their last three games in all competitions and back to back league wins against Grimsby and Cambridge have taken them five points clear of the Railwaymen.

Artell will be aiming for his side to pull back some points on the Glovers at Gresty Road this weekend.

The Crewe boss said: “Yeovil have been on a good run but a high percentage of their results have come at home. They have had a large proportion of games at home of late and that makes a massive difference when trying to get some momentum behind you.

“Their away form has been patchy, so it is up to us to take advantage of that and try to get closer to them in the league.

“We need a little run ourselves again. We have done it before. We had one at the start of the season and won three out of five not so long okay, so we know this group of players are capable of it.

“It is up to us to go on a run and start to remain unbeaten for a sequence of matches to ease any fears.”
