Crewe Alexandra Under 18's romped to a 3-0 victory over Leeds United at Reaseheath to bounce back immediately from disappointment at Hull.
Aaron Lomas helped himself to a brace either side of Challis Johnson's breakaway effort to record a comfortable victory.
Crewe held a 1-0 lead at the break, Lomas finishing low at the near post after a low cross from the right by-line from Travis Johnson on 32 minutes.
Joe Lynch's splitting through ball ten minutes into the second period set Challis Johnson away, with a good first touch to keep it in his stridge & a low finish from just inside the area proving too clinical for the Whites.
The win was complete with just under 20 minutes remaining on the clock when Travis Johnson again assisted Lomas with a ball over the top for the striker to take it in his strike & fire low across the goalkeeper into the far corner.
Next up for Lee Bells 18's is a trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday (24 Feb, 11am).
