Boss Dave Artell has provided an fitness and injury update ahead of the Club’s trip to Lincoln City this weekend.

Full-back Jamie Sterry could return after missing the Exeter defeat through illness and George Ray is in with a chance of featuring for the first time this season after getting another 90 minute run-out for the Under 23’s at Birmingham City on Monday.

Chris Dagnall (knee), James Jones (knee), Chris Porter (ankle) and Ryan Wintle (ankle) are all still absent.

Artell said: “Jamie was ill and it was a blow because he would’ve played.

“We’ll see how he is now and how much weight he’s lost, if any, and assess him ahead of going to Lincoln.

“I’ll have a chat with George Ray as well and we’ll come to a conclusion on where he’s at.

“I want all of our good players fit and available, and George is certainly one of those.”
