David Artell has revealed that Crewe Alexandra have had a clean bill of health from Saturday’s draw at home to Yeovil Town. The Railwaymen travel to Accrington Stanley tomorrow night aiming to build on the point gained against the Glovers.

The Crewe boss told the club’s official website: “We have a clean bill of health from Saturday. It is the best medicine to have when you get a result.

“The injured players are making progress. They are ahead of schedule and that is credit to David (Spendiff) the new physio. He has worked his socks off and there is a great incentive to get back.

“There are good points and bad points. Yeovil probably looked at the game and thought it was an excellent point. We looked at it as a disappointing point but at we least we stopped our run of not getting any points.”
