David Artell remains positive that we will turn the corner soon because of the quality we have inside the dressing room.
The Crewe Alexandra boss believes that we have enough ability and character to ‘dig ourselves out of the hole we have dug ourselves’ and he is looking for a positive response against Yeovil this weekend after losing four on the bounce.
Artell told the club’s official website: “I am always optimistic and I believe we will dig ourselves out of the hole we have dug ourselves. It is not insurmountable by a long way.
“I believe in the quality of the players we have in the dressing room. It was not so long ago that we had a decent festive period of three wins out of five and looking decent enough.
“To then lose two on the spin in the last minute is harder to get over. We all know we have to go on a run like we did at Christmas. We are capable of it.
“We look to the next game. Yeovil, then Accrington, then Colchester. It doesn’t matter who we are playing we always try and beat the opposition in front of us.”
