Boss Dave Artell says his troops have to 'stand up' to the challenge posed by Lincoln City this weekend.

The Alex Manager says his side have stood up to direct football well in spells this season, but must be on their game for the full match to get a positive result at Sincil Bank. 

Artell said: “It’s another Wycombe & Notts County type of side.  It’s another one of them and we’ve got to stand up to it. It’s as simple as that.

“They go at it from the front, that’s their style of play. They’re direct, but we’ve been up against that before and we’ve done well against that sort of thing. We’ve got to make sure we do it again.

“They’ve spent a lot of money very well. They’ve got a good chance at making the play-offs from what they’ve done this season.

“We’ve got to be able to mix it up, depending on the state of the game and the time of the game. There are all of those factors to consider.

“Our team will go out and look to combat what Lincoln are doing and play our own football to try and get a result.”
