Artell On Colchester Threat

16 February 2018

Boss Dave Artell is wary of the threat posed by a 'much improved' Colchester United side, but insists his side have the quality to beat the U's this weekend.

The Alex gaffer is hoping to end a run of six games without a win, but isn't taking anything for granted against the side pushing for the play-offs.

Artell said: "They're a far better team than what they were when we played them down there.

"They've got a decent midfield, two powerful strikers, and three solid defenders - a bit of everything.

"If we play like we played down there, especially in that first half, and defend set pieces properly, then we've got a great chance of winning the game.

"We've got to make sure that we respect them but don't fear them. Are they beatable? Yes. But so were Accrington and every team in this league - we've got to make sure we believe it and go out there and prove it."
