Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell says that the team has to take collective responsibility when handling in game situations. Crewe allowed a 3-1 lead slip away at Swindon Town last weekend and Artell was disappointed that we stopped playing football for the last 20 minutes.
The Alex boss told crewealex.net: “It is a collective thing and never about the individual. We lost the game last week because we didn’t pass the ball for the last 20 minutes and that is what was disappointing.
“We moved away from what had made us successful in the first place. We had to keep getting on the ball and keep passing the ball.
“When we did that we were in total control and looked a threat. If we pass the ball and keep doing it then we will be fine. If we play into Notts County’s hands then it will be a tough afternoon.”
