6 December 2018

Goals: Heath (65), Linton (pen 70)

Lee Bell's side made it back-to-back victores after coming from behind to beat Bolton Wanderers 2-1 away from home.

Connor Heath equalised Bolton's opener immediately from the restart and Malachi Linton despatched a penalty five minutes later as the Alex went on to win.

Bolton hit the front with 64 minutes on the clock, the midfielder wrapping a fine first time shot from the edge of the box into the top corner.

But straight from the kick-off, Crewe hit back. Heath neatly finished Rio Adebisi's low cross with a first time finish low into the bottom corner.

And five minutes later, Crewe completed the turnaround to tie the game up. Linton broke into the penalty area down the left & tried to cross, but a Wanderers defender handled & the referee pointed to the spot.

It was Linton himself who stepped up to the kick, rolling the ball to the keepers' left as he dived the other way to secure three points on the road.
