Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell says he would love another 23 appearances like the one we produced against league leaders, Lincoln City, at the weekend.
Crewe deservedly won 2-1 thanks to second half goals from Chris Porter and James Jones and the scoreline actually made it appear closer than it was.
The Railwaymen now face Stevenage at the Alexandra Stadium tomorrow aiming to win back-to-back league games for the first time this season.
The boss said: “We would like another one (Lincoln) like that please. Another 23 would be ideal but we know that is easier said than done. The performance was terrific and the performance was matched by the result.
“We actually played better at Crawley and didn’t get the result we deserved that day. We did against Lincoln and we know it is a results business.
“Lincoln are top of the league and a tough opponent but when we perform like we did then we can be a match for anyone in the division.
“Now we have to repeat it, repeat it, repeat it and repeat it. “
