Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen has extended his loan spell at Nantwich Town until 21 January 2019.

His previous loan spell came to an end at the weekend, but the Dabbers were keen to keep hold of their number one shot-stopper who has helped the Club climb to the summit of the Evo-Stik Premier Division.

Jaakelainen, 20, is yet to make his Alex debut but has enjoyed a number of loan spells with the Dabbers as well as Loughborough Dynamo & Buxton FC.

Nantwich host Basford United at the Weaver Stadium this weekend before travelling to Stafford Rangers on Boxing Day.
