David Artell has praised the club’s supporters and he hopes that they will come out in their numbers to get behind us on Boxing Day when the visitors will be current league leaders, Lincoln City.
Crewe will be aiming to bounce back from three successive defeats and the supporters have been encouraged to wear their scarfs on Wednesday.
Artell told the club’s official website: “The fans have been terrific and we need them to stick with us. They have really got behind us and they are knowledgeable and understand that the performances have not been reflected in the results.
“We have Lincoln on Boxing Day and it is a fixture to look forward to. It is a scarf day, so I hope they all wear their scarfs and get behind us. I want them to make some noise. I’m sure Lincoln will with the numbers they are bringing, so it is sure to be a good atmosphere.”
