Members of The Railwaymen Supporters Group are holding a 'Flag Day' on Saturday 1 September at the Alexandra Stadium, with the support of the Football Club.

Taking place before, during & after the game that day with Macclesfield Town (3pm KO), 'The Railwaymen' are encouraging supporters who own a Crewe Alex branded flag to take part.

A member of the group, Grant Coiley, came up with the idea, with the notion behind the event to create a wall of colour & visual support for the team on match day & to encourage more supporters to embrace the game day atmosphere.

Supporters who wish to display their flags at the stadium must report to the Main Club office on Wednesday 29 August or Thursday 30 August between 1-3pm.

*Please Note* for any flag over 2.5 metres, a fire certificate must be presented to comply with ground regulations. It is also your own responsibility to collect your flag after the final whistle.

Photos will be taken with the flags after the game inside the stadium with Manager Dave Artell.

The Football Club will be running a competition over Twitter (@crewealexfc) & Facebook (/crewealexofficial) after the match for supporters to vote for their favourite flag. The winner will receive a 2018/19 home shirt signed by the squad.
