Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell has praised the contribution of the supporters so far this season.
The Alex boss has praised their attendance at our home games against Morecambe and against Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. He also saved special praise for those that made the long journey to South Wales to get behind the team at Newport.
Ahead our third home game of the campaign against the MK Dons, Artell told crewealex.net: “The fans have been brilliant, I must say.
“They came in their numbers for the opening game and then we had a large amount with us at Newport. They really got behind the team and tried to help us.
“They got behind us against on Tuesday against Fleetwood and it was a shame that we couldn’t quite get over the line for them.
He added: “We know we have our part to play to get them involved. It is down to us to play well and give them something to shout about. I want to give them plenty to shout about this season.”
