Boss Dave Artell says he is expecting 'a quiet afternoon' on transfer deadline day & doesn't anticipate any business at Crewe Alexandra in or out.
But he also admitted that while the window is open, you never quite know what is around the corner.
Artell said: "Unless something comes a bit left-field, I'm expecting a quiet afternoon.
"It doesn't mean to say that something won't happen, because like I said before, when the shop is open, sometimes you have to do a bit of buying & selling.
"It seems to me that it has crept up on a lot of Clubs & there's not been that much activity.
"I'm sure there will be a lot on Thursday, but I'm not sure there's going to be that much in League Two. I think the real window for our league is going to be the loan window at the end of the month.
"I think there will be a lot of activity in the week leading up to the 31st."
