Boss Dave Artell is hoping to negotiate victory for his Crewe side in a 'tricky' Sky Bet League Two opening match against Morecambe this weekend.
The Alex won both matches against the Shrimps last season 1-0, with both goals coming inside the final five minutes after an inital tight match.
Shaun Miller remains the only player sidelined by injury, with the boss having a squad of 28 professionals to pick from.
Artell said: "Obviously it's the first proper game, & the lads are looking fine. There have been no fresh injuries or anything like that.
"They're always tricky Morecambe, I have to say. They're tricky to analyse to see how they player, & they're tricky to play against - hence why we only managed to just about beat them in the final five minutes of both games last year.
"But we did manage to find a way, & we've got to make sure we find a way tomorrow.
