The on-loan Shaun Miller has told the club’s official website that he could be open to a permanent move back to Crewe Alexandra. Miller, 30, is currently on loan at the club from Carlisle United and he is a free agent this summer.

Miller, who began his career as a youngster at Crewe has scored three goals on his return to Gresty Road and he has also contributed some telling assists as well.

Miller has returned to his roots with his young family and he has certainly not ruled out the possibility of a return to Crewe at the end of the season.

Shaun told us: “It is certainly something I would consider if the situation arose but we will have to see what happens. Anything can happen in this game but if it comes about then I’m sure we will speak about it.

“I am back local now and that is ideal situation for me, but like I’ve said, you never know in this game. It has the potential for anything to happen.”
