On loan striker Harry McKirdy is back with us after having undergoing some rehabilitation at his parent club Aston Villa. The Staffordshire born forward, who has scored three goals for Crewe during his loan spell missed last weekend’s 3-1 defeat at Luton Town due to a slight knock but he is back in contention for this weekend’s home fixture against Morecambe.

Meanwhile, Zoumana Bakayogo made a successful return to action in the club’s Under-23 fixture against Crystal Palace on Monday afternoon. The former Leicester man is set to get some more game time against Sheffield United U-23s later today as he steps up his return from a calf strain.
