Crewe Alexandra defender Perry Ng missed our Easter contest with Port Vale due to a calf injury sustained in our Good Friday defeat at Barnet. Ng did everything he could to make himself available for our local derby clash but was unable to put himself forward for selection after being unable to train over the weekend. His place went to the fit-again Jamie Sterry.

Crewe will have to assess the fitness of Ng and left-back Zoumana Bakayogo ahead of our trip to Mansfield Town this weekend.

Chris Porter made his long awaited return from an ankle injury as a second half substitute against the Valiants and he has reported no ill effects as we head into the weekend.
