David Artell has told the club’s official website that it is still not the time to experiment with his tactics, formation or certain players. The Crewe boss says he will select his team for this weekend’s trip to Luton Town on merit because he wants to end the season on a high note.
With Luton also gunning for the League title, Artell is determined to be fair to the others contesting such an exciting race for honours.
David told the club’s official website: “You are always planning and looking to evolve but it is difficult to experiment at this stage.
“Luton have put eight goals past teams this season, so you don’t want to experiment and risk demoralising our players after what we have been able to achieve over the last couple of months.
“We want to remain positive and not try playing different players in different positions. I may try and make some subtle changes in the last few games and perhaps try one or two things but that won’t be happening this weekend.”
