Kenny Lunt does not believe our former loanee striker Uche Ikpeazu has anything to prove on another return to Gresty Road. The former Port Vale, Watford, Reading and Doncaster Rovers striker is how leading the line for Shaun Derry’s U’s and Lunt says that on his day, the robust striker can be a real handful for defenders.
Lunt told the club’s official web-site: “I don’t think Uche has anything to prove. He did well for the club when he was with us.
“He is now at Cambridge and we know better than anyone that he can be a real handful. He is a powerful lad when he gets going.
“Hopefully, we can control the game and get him chasing us about with our football.
“We face different challenges every week and Cambridge will be tough. It is another chance for us to get three points in front of the home fans and that is what we will aim to do.”
